ORT Israel, which is currently training over 100,000 students in 160 schools and colleges, has also coordinated NanoYou, a highly successful EC-funded communication and outreach project about nanotechnology aimed at European young people through a wide range of school programs and activities. In its 62-year history, ORT has trained over 500,000 graduates, the majority of which work in science and technology.
Since its foundation in 1997, EUN has been building a strong net of relationships between communities of teachers, students, researchers and policymakers through a wide range of projects, competitions, activities, communication and information exchanges. It supports the efficient use of ICT in education and it is firmly focused on increasing European awareness in education.

Environment, health and safety issues are one of its main consultancy areas. The organization both monitors and contributes to government policy at European and UK level.
